Where Have You Gone is the latest single from Mr Bruce. He wrote the lyrics to this song in the wake of the unexpected death of Tim Cole (aka Chucks), his bandmate with whom he shared a very successful career in The Correspondents for more than 13 years. The song perfectly represents all the desperation, turmoil and rage of losing someone too soon.

Producer Angus Kemp has created an intensely beautiful and densely layered piece of dance music. Swirling sirens and cascading synth melodies give the track real urgency above a pounding bassline. The drum pattern is partly constructed from retuned recordings of people banging pans for the NHS during lockdown which was created by Boss Lids Records collaborator DOL who co-produced the early demos of the track.
